As a podcaster, you likely enter into the interview process with excitement and hope.
But after a while, you may start to feel stuck.
You're not making any money and you don't see how you ever will.
It's discouraging, but don't give up just yet!

There are ways to make money podcasting without selling your soul (or your integrity).

I'm going to share 3 ways everyone's going about monetizing their podcast, and then I'm going to give the counter intuitive way that'll get you a paying client by the end of this week...

Let's start with the obvious:

One way to make money podcasting is by Patreon.
Patreon is a crowdfunding platform that allows fans to support their favorite creators with monthly donations. You can set up a Patreon account and offer exclusive content, behind-the-scenes access, or anything else your fans would be interested in. Fans who donate $5 or more per month will get access to your exclusive content.

Another way to make money podcasting is by sponsorships.
You can find sponsors by reaching out to companies that you think would be a good fit for your show. Once you've found a few potential sponsors, reach out and pitch them your show. If they're interested, you'll need to negotiate a rate.

Sponsorships can be a great way to make money, but it's important to make sure that the sponsor's message is in line with your own values. You don't want to sell out and end up promoting something you don't believe in!

Finally, you can also make money by selling products.
This could be anything from physical products to digital products like e-books or courses. If you have a product that you think your audience would be interested in, there's no harm in pitching it! You can also sell products through affiliate marketing, which is when you promote other people's products and receive a commission for each sale you make.

Each one of these money-making routes will be fantastic if you were the only one doing them...

But as we stand today, all of these routes are pretty saturated and you're competing with people who amassed large audiences and spent years building their own online authority, their audience and their courses.
